The Role:
Recently awarded a $20M contract for a major mining client, this contractor is mobilising to deliver bulk earthworks and road construction works across Western Australia, with site works commencing in the next 6 weeks.
This is a key project and a chance to join at the front end of delivery on a high profile package of works. You will play a hands on role in driving site performance, shaping delivery, and ensuring outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and supervise site crews across bulk earthworks and roadworks
- Drive daily productivity and meet programme targets
- Coordinate plant, labour, materials, and subcontractors efficiently
- Maintain strong safety standards and site compliance
- Liaise with project teams and support continuous improvement
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a supervisor on civil projects, ideally bulk earthworks
- Background working on Tier 1 or large scale projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews
- Confident communicator able to engage with both clients and workforce
- Solid understanding of civil construction methodologies and plant
- Ability to prioritise, make decisions, and keep projects moving
- Relevant tickets and certifications, with S26 highly regarded
