are seeking an AO5 Injury Management Advisor
to join their team on a short term contract.
About the Role
Reporting to the Principal Consultant, Injury Management , you will be a key member of the team working closely with other members of the HSW team. You will provide injury and illness management services and partner with managers of ill or injured staff to optimise them staying at work and/or make a safe and timely return to work following illness or injury.

About the Role

- Pay up from $68 per hour + 12% super | Paid weekly!
- Brisbane CBD | WFH up to two days per week
- Initial contract 30th December 2026 + extension
What you will be doing:
- Manage Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Cases
Serve as the primary contact for injured employees, overseeing workers' compensation claims and injury management activities from initial incident through to claim resolution and recovery. - Provide Expert Rehabilitation and Return to Work Advice
Deliver case management, rehabilitation guidance, and return to work support to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and positive outcomes for employees. - Coordinate Return to Work and Workplace Adjustment Programs
Develop and implement effective return to work strategies and reasonable workplace adjustments that support employee recovery and timely reintegration into the workplace. - Lead Health, Safety and Injury Management Programs
Implement and continuously improve health, safety, and injury management frameworks, programs, and services that align with organisational objectives. - Provide Operational Advice and Support to Leaders
Partner with managers and stakeholders to deliver expert advice on health, safety, injury management, and workers' compensation matters across the organisation.

- Proven expertise in building and maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse organisation, including the ability to manage conflict, influence outcomes, and foster collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- High-level of personal accountability for achieving organisational objectives, driving team performance, and delivering high-quality outcomes, while maintaining a commitment to professional and self-development.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of best practice injury and illness management processes, workers' compensation legislation, and their strategic application within a complex organisation.
