About the role
The role will work within the People, Capability & Culture team team to design, develop, and revise learning content, including course materials, assessments, and learning resources. This includes modernising and updating existing content to ensure alignment with organisational, regulatory, and adult‑learning standards.

- Pay from $78 per hour + super (paid weekly)
- WFH up to 2 days per week (pending performance)
- Initial contract until 18th of December 2026 (+extension)
- Liaise with Subject Matter Experts, project team and key stakeholders across the department to source and package training material to be suitable for delivery to external contractors.
- Lead the design and development of training content and materials (e.g. User guides, videos, FAQs, and other resources).
- Training evaluation and feedback, to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement or training documentation amendments.
- Working closely with the Capability and Culture team, the role will review existing materials, engage with stakeholders to validate direction, and deliver a contemporary, high-quality workbook that supports leaders to adapt their leadership style based on context, audience and organisational needs.
Experience Required
- Available ASAP
- Government experience is not essential but beneficial
- 3+ years’ experience in training development and delivery, preferably within business improvement projects.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning tools, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Atriculate, Blackboard & MS Teams).
- Demonstrated experience in producing high quality training and materials that meet the criteria specified with project management and learning frameworks.
