Public Sector People  are working with a State Government organisation who are seeking an experienced A06 Training Manager  in a contract position until  November 2026!

The Role:

  • AO6 Training Manager - Training & Development
  • Pay from $78 per hour + Super
  • Brisbane North Carseldine / Flexible working arrangements 50%
  • Initial  contract until November 2026 (+extension)
About the role
  
The Training Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of training to enable the successful delivery of a large scale, complex project that will transform how we manage asset maintenance. 
  
Working closely with key stakeholders, this role ensures that delivery partners have the knowledge and skills needed to perform their roles effectively.
  
Role Accountabilities
  • Develop a comprehensive Learning Strategy and plan following modern learning principles and approaches, including the identification and management of learning risk.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify learning and development priorities across the department.
  • Design and develop learning curricula, training materials, and resources tailored to the needs of different employee groups and learning styles.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and presentations both in-person and virtually.
  • Design and develop training content and materials (e.g. User guides, videos, FAQs, and other resources).
Experience Required
  •  A detailed knowledge and understanding of adult learning and modern instructional design principles, methodologies, and tools, is required with a minimum of 10 years learning/OCM consulting experience working in a similar capacity on large scale ICT programs/projects.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
  • Experience in using a range of software products such as SharePoint Online administration, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Visio, Project, MS Office, Viva Engage, Forms.
