Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and detailed project reporting
- Manage job costing, progress claims, subcontractor payments, retentions, and project cash flow
- Provide budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple construction projects
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee AP/AR, payroll processing, BAS/IAS submissions, and end-of-month processes
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership to deliver financial insights
- Support year-end audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- CPA qualified(mandatory)
- Experience within the construction or infrastructure industry
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and construction financial workflows
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as MYOB, Xero, or construction software (e.g., Jobpac, Cheops)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
