The Opportunity:
- Support across accounts payable and receivable, including database entry
- Allocate invoices for approval and follow up
- Prepare vendor payment batches and reconcile credit card transactions
- Assist with month-end reporting and data entry
- Respond to customer and supplier queries promptly
- Monthly timesheet and mileage claim reporting for payroll
- Support team and manage/action Accounts inbox
- Maintain internal project software platforms
- Adhoc admin, other finance tasks and attend meetings where required
- 2 years of experience as an Accounts officer within the engineering sector - Relevant experience from other construction industries will also be taken into account
- Proficient in both Accounts Payable and Receivable – candidates with experience in only one area will still be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- A proactive and enthusiastic team player with a warm and approachable demeanor
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
