Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Officers

I’m currently recruiting for a well-established and growing business within the construction and electrical services sector, with two separate opportunities available within their Finance team - Accounts Payable position and Accounts Receivable positions.
Both roles offer the opportunity to join a supportive finance team and work within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Accounts Payable Officer
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
- Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
- Liaising with project teams and internal stakeholders
- Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable function
- Raising invoices and allocating customer payments
- Maintaining accurate customer accounts and completing reconciliations
- Following up outstanding invoices and managing aged debtors
- Responding to customer queries and resolving discrepancies
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Supporting cash-flow objectives across the business
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good Excel and accounting systems experience
- A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
- Construction, engineering or project-based experience required
