We're working with a respected contractor delivering commercial and infrastructure projects across NSW. Due to continued growth, they're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team and take ownership of the end-to-end AP function.

The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices while supporting the wider finance team across multiple live projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing across multiple projects.
- High-volume invoice processing, coding and data entry.
- Three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices and delivery dockets.
- Supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs.
- Liaising with Project Managers and Site Teams to resolve invoice queries.
- Managing subcontractor invoices and ensuring compliance documentation is received.
- Processing employee expense claims and company credit card reconciliations.
- Maintaining supplier accounts and setting up new vendors.
- Assisting with month-end close, accruals and reporting.
- Supporting continuous improvement of AP processes and systems.
- Previous Accounts Payable experience within the construction, engineering, property or infrastructure industry.
- Strong understanding of project-based invoicing and purchase order processes.
- Experience working with high-volume invoices and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent reconciliation skills and high attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet strict payment deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Jobpac, CHEOPS, Viewpoint, Pronto, MYOB, SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar will be highly regarded.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
