We are currently partnering with a well-established commercial fit-out and refurbishment business to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their Newcastle-based team.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Invoice management and data entry
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Supporting month-end reporting
- General administrative support within the finance team
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills
