Accounts Receivable Officer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established business operating within the electrical and engineering services sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a collaborative finance team.
About the role:
- Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process
- Raising invoices and processing customer payments
- Allocations, reconciliations and maintaining accurate customer accounts
- Following up outstanding invoices and managing debtor balances
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Responding to account queries and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Monitoring aged debtors and supporting cash-flow objectives
- Providing general support across the wider Finance function
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position
- Experience within construction, engineering, electrical services or a project-based environment (desirable)
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Confidence communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Strong Excel and accounting systems experience
