Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Administration Assistant.
Contract: 12 moinths | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $35+ p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing calendars.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email, delivering professional service to developers, builders, residents, and internal staff.
- Assist with gathering and organising information to support business operations and decision-making.
- Draft and format correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office.
- Maintain filing systems and manage email communications efficiently.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Support the upkeep of office equipment and liaise for servicing when required.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
