Tech and Data People are partnering with a respected organisation seeking an experienced Analytics and Insights Manager to lead their business performance function. This is a leadership role sitting within finance, driving strategic decision-making and performance improvement across a complex, data-rich environment.
About the Role:
You will lead a high performing Business Performance and Analytics team, responsible for delivering insight-driven reporting, analysis, and commercial strategy. This role sits within finance but there is a focus on Marketing and Campaign Data. This role partners closely with executive leadership, shaping decisions through data, governance, and commercial excellence.
What You Will Do:
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing analytics and performance team aligned with organisational goals
- Oversee the design and delivery of performance dashboards, KPI frameworks, and executive reporting
- Analyse key business drivers and support strategic initiatives through scenario and sensitivity modelling
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, challenging assumptions to drive improved outcomes
- Develop and maintain commercial policies such as pricing and cost allocation frameworks
- Strengthen governance through documentation, tracking, and alignment with financial strategy
- Champion the use of modern data and analytics tools to enhance decision-making
- Maintain awareness of emerging AI tools and advocate for responsible, value-driven adoption
- Strong of experience in business performance, commercial finance, or strategic analytics
- Proven experience leading analytical or performance teams in large or complex organisations
- Strong skills in financial and operational modelling, performance reporting, and commercial analysis
- Demonstrated success developing commercial policies that support sustainable profitability
- Experience working across enterprise-wide data functions including finance, sales, operations, and product
- Background in or exposure to management consulting
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel; working knowledge of Python or R; familiarity with Databricks or similar platforms
- Strong influencing, presentation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or Mathematics
- Postgraduate qualification such as CA, CPA, MBA, or CFA
