We’re looking for a commercially astute and people focused Analytics Manager to lead a team delivering proactive, outcome oriented insights from customer data. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, this is an exciting opportunity to shape how data drives decision making in a fast-paced, data-rich environment.
You’ll report into a senior business leader and manage a team of six analysts, building a centre of excellence for performance reporting, customer insights, and data storytelling. This is a role for someone who can think strategically, lead from the front, and communicate insights that unlock business value.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and mentoring a team of six analysts, developing them into a high-performing, commercially focused unit.
- Driving the delivery of customer insight, campaign effectiveness and performance metrics using SQL, Power BI, DAX and dbt.
- Collaborating across Marketing, Digital, Product and Operations to proactively identify data-driven opportunities for improvement.
- Translating complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Uplifting analytics capability across the team, embedding best-practice data modelling and ETL performance management.
- Ensuring consistent use of the enterprise data platform and alignment with business goals.
- Proven experience in leading analytics or BI teams, ideally with six or more direct reports.
- Deep technical experience in SQL, Power BI, DAX, and dbt.
- Strong understanding of ETL performance management and data modelling best practices.
- Demonstrated success in driving proactive, customer-focused insights that influence decision-making.
- Ability to coach and develop analytics professionals in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
