AO3 Communications Officer

This AO3 Communication Officer is an important role within the Department’s Customer and Stakeholder Management (Northern) team. The role of the Communication Office is to produce project communications such as correspondence, communication and engagement plans, flyer's, social media post, and web-page updates. Additionally, the Communication Officer is expected to engage with project stakeholders for low and medium risk issues and concerns.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Write draft project webpages, manage project page updates, and produce analytic reports
- Prepare project flyer and distribution
- Prepare written correspondence in response to stakeholder enquiries
- Prepare Notice of Entries, and or dilapidation surveys
- Source stakeholder contact details and enter into spreadsheets and, or Consultation Manager
- Assist or attend stakeholder meetings with Program Engagement Offices
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic communications, media liaison, and content creation.
- A strong grasp of digital platforms, including websites (SharePoint), intranet, and social media.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
- A C Class driver’s licence.
- Six month contract
- WFH Flexibility is available
- $49.40 per hour + Super
- Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week
