Public Sector People  are currently partnering with a Queensland Government department to recruit a  Program Officer (Digital Solutions)  for temporary contract through to September 2027. 

This role will support the delivery of digital solutions and business improvement initiatives across the region, with a particular focus on SharePoint Online, Power Automate and Microsoft 365 technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting business systems, developing low-code solutions and working closely with stakeholders to streamline processes and improve the user experience. 

Working within a collaborative business services team, you will assist with the development, administration and support of digital solutions that enhance information management, collaboration and operational efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists and content management solutions.
  • Building and supporting workflows and automations using Power Automate and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify business improvement opportunities. 
  • Providing technical support, training and advice to end users across digital platforms.
  • Creating user guides, process documentation and training materials. 
  • Supporting testing, implementation and ongoing enhancement of digital solutions.
  • Ensuring solutions align with information management, governance and security requirements. 
About You
  • Experience supporting or administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Exposure to Power Automate and workflow automation. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyse business processes and recommend practical technology solutions. 
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation and organisational skills. 
  • Previous experience within government, infrastructure or large enterprise environments will be highly regarded.
