About the Role
In this position, you will play a key role in analysing business intelligence requirements, developing clear project documentation, and supporting the delivery of reporting and data-focused initiatives. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to understand business needs, improve processes, and ensure solutions are effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of business intelligence artefacts and translate findings into high-quality project documentation.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand operational needs and future reporting requirements.
- Provide advice on processes, systems, data, and business solutions to support strategic decision-making.
- Support user acceptance testing by developing test plans and communicating proposed changes to stakeholders and leadership.
- Create and maintain process maps, procedures, templates, and change management artefacts.
- Develop and manage business intelligence artefacts aligned with government project, program, and portfolio frameworks.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of analysis frameworks, templates, and methodologies.
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within government or large, structured environments.
- Confidence working with data, reporting, and business intelligence artefacts.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple teams.
- Experience in data storytelling or data analysis (highly desirable).
- Solid understanding of project and business analysis methodologies.
