AO5 Governance, Risk & Compliance

Public Sector People  are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an AO5 Risk Advisor on temp contract until 30th April 2026(+ extension)

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect and consolidate business information required for the annual corporate insurance renewal process and support activities related to Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Provide administrative support to ensure the operational effectiveness of the GRC frameworks, by coordinating regular reviews and updates to the risk, incident, delegations, and compliance documents and registers.
• Develop a sound understanding of the departments Governance Risk & Compliance frameworks, tools, related documents and support their application in alignment with best practice principles. 

• 3+ years of experience working within a similar position.
• Government experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail

• WFH 2 days a week
• Pay rate from $68 per hour + Super
