AO5 Senior Accommodation Planner

In this role, you will plan and manage medium to major Government office accommodation projects. You’ll also contribute to the development of whole-of-government accommodation policies and strategies, helping to shape efficient, functional and well-designed workplaces for the future.
  
You’ll bring both technical expertise and creative design skills to ensure government workplaces meet service delivery needs while optimizing space and cost efficiency.
  
  
What you’ll bring

• The successful candidate will be a qualified Interior Designer with hands-on experience in office interior design, workplace fit-outs, and the use of Autodesk AutoCAD LT software.
• Proven experience preparing office accommodation strategies that improve performance across large office portfolios.
• Strong ability to analyse, review and present accurate property data, providing sound recommendations to stakeholders.
• A track record of successfully managing office fit-out projects and programs within time, budget, and quality requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Experience navigating competing priorities and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Well-developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation applying to office buildings and space planning.
• The ability to interpret architectural and services plans confidently.
