You will work closely with finance, operations and project teams to analyse processes, assess risks, support financial control improvements, and ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.

- Analyse financial processes, data structures and workflow dependencies to inform project decision‑making.
- Assess business impacts, risks and financial control implications associated with system or process changes.
- Develop high‑quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, functional specifications and analysis reports.
- Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure policy, procedural and control changes are understood and adopted.
- Support testing, readiness, transition and implementation activities.
- Provide input into project planning, governance papers and progress reporting.
- Identify improvement opportunities within financial processes, controls and reporting.
- Work collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong experience as a Financial Business Analyst within government or large complex organisations.
- Practical, recent experience working with SAP S/4HANA, particularly within Finance (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Reporting).
- Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls and public-sector finance frameworks.
- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into structured analysis and documentation.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative project environment.
