Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of building projects, including design, procurement, construction, and post-delivery activities
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives
- Oversee contract administration across various delivery models
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective service delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Drive value-for-money outcomes through negotiation and strategic decision-making
- Monitor project performance, including reporting, cost control, and risk management
- Support senior leadership with financial oversight, including service fee assessments and billing approvals
- Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a high-performance culture
About You
You are a proactive and experienced project professional with a strong background in the construction industry. You thrive in complex environments and bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Queensland Driver’s Licence (Class C – Open)
Highly Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Diploma or higher)
- Certification such as AIPM RegPM (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel
