With a strong pipeline of healthcare projects across both public and private sectors, this role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of hospitals, specialist medical facilities, healthcare precincts and clinical fit-outs from design through to construction.
This position would suit a Registered Architect or experienced Project Architect looking to take ownership of projects, lead consultant coordination and play a key role in client relationships and project delivery.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for:
- Leading healthcare projects from concept design through to construction
- Managing project programmes, budgets and resourcing requirements
- Coordinating consultants, authorities and stakeholder groups
- Preparing and reviewing design and documentation packages
- Leading client presentations and project meetings
- Managing contract administration and site involvement during construction
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with healthcare guidelines, standards and regulatory requirements
- 7+ years' post-graduate architectural experience
- Proven experience delivering healthcare projects within Australia
- Experience working on hospitals, health precincts, day surgeries, cancer treatment facilities, medical centres or specialist healthcare fit-outs
- Experience delivering projects for public health and/or private health clients
- Strong knowledge of Australian healthcare planning requirements and building regulations
- Advanced Revit skills and BIM project delivery experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong documentation, coordination and project leadership skills
- Registration as an Architect will be highly regarded
