Our client, a well established civil construction business, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Supervisor to lead high performing crews across major projects. Role Description:
As an Asphalt Supervisor you will lead and motivate high performing crews, subcontractors and plant operators to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will plan and coordinate daily operations, oversee machinery and site activities, and provide technical guidance while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will also monitor team performance, provide coaching and support, and ensure projects exceed expectations.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum five years experience leading asphalt crews or civil surfacing teams
- Proven record of managing team performance and achieving project outcomes
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
- Experience supervising personnel, plant, machinery and subcontractors on site
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide technical advice
- Valid Driver Licence
- Willing to undergo medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Availability for occasional weekend work and work away from home
- Heavy equipment experience (tickets preferred)
- Positive, team focused attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
