The Assets Manager will lead the organisation’s asset management function, overseeing the planning, performance, and lifecycle management of major infrastructure assets. The role plays a critical part in supporting capital works delivery, flood recovery outcomes, and sustainable long‑term infrastructure investment.
Key Accountabilities
- Strategic and operational management of infrastructure and asset portfolios
- Oversight of roads, bridges, drainage, buildings, and public infrastructure assets
- Development and continuous improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) and systems
- Support delivery of recovery, reconstruction, and resilience programs
- Alignment of asset planning with capital works programs and long‑term financial planning
- Management of state and federal funding programs, including compliance and reporting
- Asset lifecycle planning, condition assessment, and risk‑based prioritisation
