Public Sector People are partnering with an Australian government organisation to recruit for Assets Officer.
Contract: 3 months temp contract | Immediate Start
Salary: $50 - $60 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Streamline fleet and plant asset management processes to deliver services in a cost-effective and efficient manner, optimising asset performance and utilisation.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset register and implement systems and processes that support sound asset management practices and informed decision-making.
- Develop asset lifecycle models and prepare reliable estimates for capital and operational budgets to support long-term financial sustainability and asset renewal planning
Essential:
- Relevant degree or qualifications in engineering including mechanical, industrial or services engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months experience in an Assets Officer position or similar
