Due to continued growth in the infrastructure portfolio, we are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with 2–4 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally from a civil or infrastructure background. You’ll contribute to a broad range of pre- and post-contract activities across major water and civil engineering projects, working closely with senior QS and project management staff.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract:
- Measurement and quantification for civil works
- Cost planning and estimates during feasibility and design
- Preparation of BoQs, value management, and cost benchmarking
- Assessment of variations and contractor progress claims
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and risk management
- Support in bank reporting, QA, and tax depreciation documentation
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
- 2–4 years’ QS experience, ideally with civil infrastructure, water, or utilities
- Exposure to systems like CostX or similar preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative project team
- Mentoring from senior QS and PM leaders
