The Role
This dual role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, relationships, and construction delivery. You'll be responsible for identifying and securing project opportunities, while also overseeing key pre-construction processes to ensure seamless handover to delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and develop new client relationships in the commercial fitout and construction sectors.
- Maintain and grow existing client partnerships through consistent communication and delivery insight.
- Prepare and present tailored capability statements and proposals.
- Represent the business at industry events and networking functions.
- Pre-Construction: Manage the pre-construction phase from concept to contract award.
- Collaborate with internal teams and consultants to produce competitive, high-quality tenders and project documentation.
- Provide accurate cost planning, programming input, and buildability advice.
- Lead client presentations and ensure alignment between client vision and delivery strategies.
About You
- Proven experience in a similar dual role, or strong background in either BD or Pre-Construction with a desire to broaden your remit.
- Deep understanding of the commercial construction and fitout industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
