The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Bid Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end tender and proposal process across multiple concurrent opportunities.
- Manage tenders, EOIs, proposals, capability statements and prequalification submissions from commencement through to lodgement and post-submission review.
- Monitor tender portals and identify relevant project opportunities.
- Review and interpret RFT, RFP and EOI documentation and develop compliance matrices.
- Establish bid programs, milestones, responsibilities, review gates and submission schedules.
- Develop, write and edit high-quality technical and commercial submission content.
- Translate complex construction and technical information into clear, persuasive and client-focused responses.
- Collaborate with commercial, estimating and operational teams to develop bid strategies, win themes and key differentiators.
- Coordinate input from multiple stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 5+ years' experience in bid coordination, bid management or tender management, ideally within construction, engineering, building services or another technical industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent bids and tight deadlines.
- Strong proposal writing, editing and content development skills.
- The ability to transform complex technical information into engaging and persuasive submissions.
- Exceptional attention to detail across document quality, formatting and written communication.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to drive accountability and outcomes.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
