Due to ongoing growth and recently secured work, they are now seeking an experienced Services Manager to join the team on a major new build commercial project in Sydney.
This role will see you take ownership of all building services coordination from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, working closely with the Project Manager, consultants and subcontractors to drive programme, quality and technical outcomes across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all services packages including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and communications
- Review design documentation and identify coordination, buildability and value engineering opportunities
- Lead services coordination between consultants, subcontractors and site teams
- Oversee procurement, programme management and subcontractor performance
- Drive commissioning, testing, defect management and final handover
- Ensure all services works are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure seamless integration of services throughout delivery
- Proven experience as a Services Manager or Senior Services Engineer with a head contractor in Australia
- Strong background delivering new build commercial projects valued $30M+
- Excellent technical understanding across all major building services disciplines
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive outcomes in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Building Services or Construction
