Our client is seeking two experienced Building Supervisors to join their team and oversee major and complex loss construction projects. In these important roles, you will supervise high value insurance related building works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with trades, insurers and stakeholders to provide exceptional outcomes for clients following major events.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day to day activities on major and complex loss construction projects
- Plan, estimate, schedule and implement building and restoration works
- Oversee tools, materials, equipment and inventory for projects
- Ensure quality construction standards and compliance with OH&S legislation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, insurers and trades to ensure seamless delivery
- Proactively resolve emerging problems to achieve timely completion within budget
- Prepare progress reports and assist with permits and compliance
- Contribute to training and mentoring of new team members as required
- Trade qualification and/or Construction Management or Builder Registration preferred
- Proven experience supervising major and complex loss events in insurance building
- Strong understanding of construction methods, quality standards and safety practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of organisation and ability to prioritise under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel or other construction scheduling software
- Full driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites as required
