Business Development Manager – Leading Commercial & Industrial Builder

The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities, strengthening client networks, and driving the continued success of the NSW business. Reporting to the General Manager, you will collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategies that expand the company’s footprint across key sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to position the company as a preferred builder.
- Lead and manage EOI and tender submissions, working closely with the estimating team to refine pricing and project risk strategies.
- Attend industry networking events to enhance market presence and foster partnerships.
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or extensive industry experience, Project Engineering, Project Management etc. ).
- 5+ years’ experience in business development within the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- A proven track record in winning new business and managing key client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in tendering, project negotiation, and risk management.
- A deep understanding of the commercial and industrial construction landscape in NSW.
- Work with a well-established, financially strong builder with a strong pipeline of projects.
