Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for highly skilled Catchment Management Planner for a 6 months contract.
Contract: 6 months
Competitive hourly rate: $75 - $80 p/h + super
Hybrid working model available - 2 days WFH
Responsibilities:
- Project management of Duck River Flood Risk Management Study and Plan, review of planning controls (focus on flood risk management, for water conservation, sustainable water use, stormwater flow management, waste water, pollution, sedimentation and water quality improvement devices)
- Develop and deliver key actions outlined in the Catchment and Waterways Strategic Plan.
- Coordiante the development of Stormwater, Waterways and Coastal Management Programs.
Essential:
- Minimum five years experience in floodplain management, planning or environmental engineering.
