This is a great opportunity for an experienced change professional to play a key role in supporting a range of Digital and ICT projects, while helping establish and embed change management practices across Council.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering change across Finance and ERP environments, with experience working with TechnologyOne (TechOne) highly desirable. A strong understanding of the local government environment will also be highly regarded.
You will work closely with the Manager Transformation, project teams and senior leaders to develop and implement change strategies that support employee adoption, minimise resistance and ensure people are ready for upcoming changes.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans for major ICT and technology initiatives
- Plan and coordinate change activities including communications, stakeholder engagement, training and transition planning
- Undertake change impact assessments and readiness assessments across the organisation
- Identify and engage key stakeholders to support successful adoption
- Develop and monitor change success measures and report progress through governance forums
- Support the development of clear and engaging change communications
- Work closely with Digital and ICT project teams to integrate change activities into project plans
- Provide advice, support and coaching to senior leaders, managers and supervisors
- Establish and embed change management practices across Council
- Minimum 5 years' experience in organisational change management across complex programs or projects
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Experience working across the full change lifecycle, from planning through to implementation and adoption
- Experience delivering change within Finance and/or ERP environments
- Experience with TechnologyOne (TechOne) is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of, or experience working within, a local government environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project environments
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Change management certification or formal qualification is desirable
