About The Company
Join a national leader in commercial building services, renowned for technical asset management across Australia, to optimise building operations. They are looking for an experienced Chiller Technician who is eager to lead a service team working across the Sydney Metro Area.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and coordinate a team of chiller service technicians across commercial sites, ensuring high-quality maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of chiller equipment.
- Oversee scheduling, allocation, and performance of service tasks to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
- Mentor and develop apprentices or junior technicians, fostering on-the-job training, knowledge sharing, and career growth.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to manage asset lifecycle activities—from auditing and retrofitting to optimisation and sustainability reporting.
- Currently a Senior Chiller Technician or hold experience in a similar leadership role, with hands-on team management and site coordination.
- Deep understanding of commercial chiller systems and compressors; able to diagnose, service, and optimise multiple types of chiller equipment.
- Proven background delivering services across various commercial environments.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring apprentices or junior staff, strong capability in knowledge transfer and staff development.
- Excellent customer service, client coordination, and internal liaison abilities, paired with strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Up to $68 an hour plus super with RDO's.
