What You’ll Be Doing
- General carpentry, construction and structural repairs
- Labouring across civil works projects and maintenance sites
- Building and maintaining bridges, boardwalks and public structures
- Concreting, including formwork, placement and finishing
- Installation and repair of kerb, channelling, stormwater drainage and culverts
- Road construction, patching and general maintenance
- Maintenance of roadsides, foreshores, reserves and public assets
- Removal and disposal of debris and waste materials
- Compliance with safety procedures and WHS requirements
- Experience in civil construction or maintenance
- Practical carpentry and general construction skills
- Ability to perform manual labour in outdoor environments
- Strong safety focus and teamwork skills
- Current driver’s licence (MR/HR desirable)
- Construction White Card
- Extra tickets (excavator, skid steer, traffic control, confined space etc.) highly regarded
