Accountabilities include:
- Assist with project managing construction and maintenance projects within the business unit, including budgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, controlling and reviewing priorities
- Implement project management techniques and management systems to assist in enhancing project performance
- Assist in managing project team resources to ensure delivery of construction and maintenance projects within budget and time constraints
- Assist the project team to comply with legislative and internal TMR quality procedures and systems
- Prepare and manage quality documents contributing to the progress claims.
- Prepare project management plan including safety, traffic and environmental, and procurement plans
- Maintain effective liaison and communication with project staff and subcontractors
- Calculate quantities of materials, analyse test results for materials, identify non-conformances, determine the controls needed during construction, and conduct and manage risk assessment
- Present technical training sessions on standard specifications for relevant project staff
- Assist the Project Manager in carrying out various duties from time to time as directed
Mandatory requirements:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is acceptable by Engineers Australia is a requirement of this position.
- Valid Queensland ‘C’ class driver’s licence or equivalent.
