Public Sector People are recruiting a Community Compliance Officer
to join a local council on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a hands-on, field-based role covering parking compliance, Local Laws and animal management, with a strong focus on community engagement, education and enforcement.
The Role
- Conduct proactive compliance and parking patrols
- Investigate complaints and community enquiries
- Issue infringements and enforce relevant legislation
- Support Local Laws and animal management activities
- Gather evidence and maintain accurate records
- Manage challenging interactions professionally and confidently
- Previous Local Laws, compliance or regulatory experience
- Knowledge of infringements and relevant legislation
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Current Victorian driver’s licence
- Current Working with Children Check
- Animal handling experience is highly regarded
- Immediate start
