About the Role Working as part of a Communications and Engagement team, you will provide administrative, communications and coordination support across a range of engagement initiatives and activities.
You will assist with both in-person and online engagement activities, helping ensure information is clear, accessible and well organised for community members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and format content for web, social media, print and internal communications
- Support the planning and logistics of community engagement activities and events
- Attend engagement activities and provide on-the-day coordination support
- Collect and collate feedback from engagement activities
- Prepare information packs and materials to support community participation
- Provide administrative support, including stakeholder lists, purchase orders and coordination tasks
- Assist with online engagement activities, including surveys and engagement platforms
- Prepare simple reports summarising community responses
You are a positive, organised and collaborative team member who enjoys supporting meaningful engagement with communities.
You will bring:
- Experience supporting communications or community engagement activities
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and in plain language
- Excellent organisation and coordination skills
- Strong administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience working with content management systems or engagement platforms is advantageous
- An interest in community participation and engagement
