We are looking for a motivated Community Engagement Advisor to join our local government client in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, utilising your skills to drive meaningful engagement initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
You'll play a key part in developing and implementing strategies to engage the community on projects. This includes:
- Building strong stakeholder relationships
- Developing inclusive engagement plans
- Facilitating meetings and workshops
- Analysing and reporting on engagement outcomes
- A tertiary qualification in public relations, social science, communications or a relevant field (or equivalent working experience)
- IAP2 Certification
- Experience in developing and implementing Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plans
- A proven track record of monitoring and evaluating engagement outcomes to draw valuable insights
- Experience working within local government is highly desirable
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Gain Valuable Experience: Develop your skills in engagement and communication
- Long-Term Contract: Secure a 6-12 month contract with potential for extension
- Highly competitive hourly rate
