Community Infrastructure Planner – Local Council (Temporary Contract)
Location: Northern Melbourne Suburbs
Rate: $75 per hour + super
Contract: Until October 2025
A local council is seeking an experienced Community Infrastructure Planner to join their City Strategy team on a temporary basis.
This role will focus on the strategic planning and delivery of community infrastructure to meet current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan for new and upgraded Council community infrastructure.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with State agencies, developers, and service providers.
- Support integrated infrastructure planning aligned with community service delivery.
- Contribute to business cases, strategic documents, and infrastructure delivery frameworks.
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy, urban planning, social science or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure or service planning within government or similar sectors.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and project management skills.
