Working across a diverse portfolio, you will lead community planning initiatives, contribute to strategic projects, and work closely with internal stakeholders, community groups, service providers, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community planning strategies, plans, and policies.
- Lead community engagement and consultation activities.
- Analyse demographic, social, and community data to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate projects that enhance community wellbeing, inclusion, and liveability.
- Prepare reports, funding applications, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and Council.
- Experience in community planning, social planning, strategic planning, or community development within local government or the public sector.
