Contracts Administrator
Design & Build Recruitment is searching for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our clients well established commercial construction team. Our client is a national head contractor with a proven history of successfully delivering commercial, education, healthcare and social housing projects mainly across QLD.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a Contracts Administrator on Commercial new build projects. You will have been exposed to projects over $10M. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity with previous construction companies.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant Contracts Admin experience
- Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
- Autonomy to work individually and as a part of a team
- Understanding of construction practices and processes
- The ability to write a detailed scope of works
- Intimate knowledge of QLD Construction legislation
- Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills
Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Contractual dispute resolution
- Heavily involved in the procurement process
- Prepare subcontractor documents
- Monthly preparation and presentation of project reports
- Financial monitoring and planning
- Preparing and presenting progress claims
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Adhere and value safety principles and practices
