The Opportunity
Due to a strong pipeline of luxury residential and boutique apartment projects across Sydney’s premium suburbs, an opportunity has arisen for a driven Contract Administrator to join the team on an exclusive development of five full-floor residences.
This is a role where you will be closely involved in the commercial management of highly detailed, design-led projects, working alongside experienced Project Managers and Directors in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Directors, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and letting of trade packages
- Administering contracts, variations, RFIs and progress claims
- Supporting cost reporting, forecasting and financial tracking across projects
- Reviewing drawings and documentation to ensure scope clarity and commercial alignment
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and site teams to resolve commercial matters
- Ensuring compliance with contract conditions, insurances and project requirements
- Assisting with project close-out and handover processes
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
- 2–5+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within residential or commercial construction
- Experience on high-end residential or boutique apartment projects highly regarded
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement and cost control
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work in a close-knit team
- Salary package up to $150,000 + Super, depending on experience
