Contract Administrator
Design & Build Recruitment is searching for a Contract Administrator – either intermediate or senior, who is looking for their next opportunity. The successful applicant will join a highly regarded head contractor delivering a strong pipeline of Gold Coast-based projects only. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a business with a proven track record across mid to high-rise residential, aged care, and health sectors, with project values ranging from $50M – $100M.
You will be joining a well-resourced and structured team, working on landmark developments with genuine long-term career progression on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full subcontractor procurement process, including tendering, scope preparation, and letting packages
- Administer subcontract agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Prepare and assess progress claims, variations, and final accounts
- Cost control, forecasting, and reporting in line with project budgets
- Work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial construction
- Exposure to mid/high-rise residential, aged care, or health projects is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar (preferred)
- Driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working within a high-performing team
