With a strong pipeline of apartment projects secured, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team and play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of their projects.
The Opportunity
An opportunity now exists for a capable Contract Administrator to join the delivery team on a major Class 2 residential apartment development on the Lower North Shore.
Working closely with an experienced Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing procurement, cost control and contractual administration across the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-supported environment whilst gaining exposure to high-quality residential developments.
The Role
- Managing subcontractor procurement and tendering processes
- Preparing and administering subcontract agreements
- Assessing and managing variations, RFIs and progress claims
- Assisting with project budgeting, forecasting and cost reporting
- Reviewing project documentation and managing contractual compliance
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery from procurement through to final account and handover
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
- 3–7+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial or residential construction
- Experience working on Class 2 residential projects
- Strong understanding of procurement, contracts and cost management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Up to $200,000 total package, depending on experience
