Up to $130,000 + Super | Site & Office | Career Progression
This is an opportunity to join a team led by young, driven leaders who are focused on delivering quality projects, building a strong culture and developing the people around them.
The Opportunity:
You will be involved in approximately $20 million worth of townhouse developments, comprising townhouses across two sites.
While these are residential projects, they are being managed with a commercial project mindset, giving you exposure to a high level of contractual, procurement and project administration.
The role will suit an experienced residential CA who is ready to operate autonomously, as well as a young and hungry CA looking to take the next step towards full project accountability.
There is also strong potential for Tier 3 commercial projects to come online in the new year, providing an opportunity for the right person to broaden their experience and potentially transition into a commercial CA role in the medium term.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for supporting the commercial and contractual delivery of the projects, including:
- Managing quotations, purchase orders and subcontractor contracts
- Reviewing and processing supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Assisting with project cost control and procurement
- Supporting the Site Manager to maintain and push the construction program
- Staying ahead of project requirements and ensuring the site team has what it needs to keep progressing
- Reviewing contractual requirements and identifying potential issues early
- Assisting with progress claims and project reporting
- Maintaining accurate project documentation
- Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Making decisions and taking action without waiting to be instructed
- Taking increasing ownership of project administration and commercial outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Experienced in residential construction, ideally with townhouse or multi-residential experience
- Commercially minded and highly organised
- Diligent with contracts, purchase orders, quotations and invoices
- Proactive and able to work autonomously
- Confident making decisions and taking ownership
- Sharp, responsive and able to keep pace with a driven Site Manager
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Interested in developing their career rather than simply maintaining the status quo
We believe progression should be supported, not just promised. If you demonstrate the capability and drive to take on more responsibility, there is genuine opportunity to grow within the team and build your career.
You'll be given responsibility, but you'll also have support and access to people who can help you develop.
