Our client, a well-established local council, is seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist to support their procurement and contract management function during a busy period. About the Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive professional who can:
- Act as the organisation’s subject matter expert in contract management.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to guide contract activities and ensure process integrity.
- Support the Coordinator in the establishment and management of a Contract Management System (CMS).
- Provide specialist advice to the Procurement Manager, Coordinator, and broader staff to uplift contract capability.
- Monitor contract activities to ensure compliance, manage risks, and generate insights to support performance improvement.
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and deliver value-for-money outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in Local Government, Public Sector, Healthcare, or Education.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar contract management position.
- Experience using ReadyContracts or OpenWindows.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
