About the Role:
  
As the Coordinator Asset Management, you will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring robust infrastructure planning and credible asset management across the Council. Reporting to the Manager Strategic Infrastructure, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering strategic asset planning, ensuring best-practice approaches, and driving ongoing improvements.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Asset Management Team and Road Safety Officer
  • Oversee the development of strategic Asset Management Plans, particularly for Council’s significant transport portfolio
  • Champion best-practice asset management processes and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Collaborate across departments to align infrastructure planning with financial and development priorities
  • Guide the integration of asset planning into the Council’s Resourcing Strategy and Developer Contributions Plans
  • Provide technical advice and contribute to the broader strategic direction of infrastructure planning
About You:
  
You are a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with the capability to align technical asset planning with organisational strategy. You bring not only technical knowledge but also a passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to serving the community.
  
You Will Have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, Financial Planning or related disciplines, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven leadership experience, including supervising and mentoring staff
  • A strong understanding of integrated infrastructure planning and asset lifecycle management
  • The ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences
  • Current driver’s licence (essential)
