3-Month Contract | Band 7 ($101,391 – $113,300 + Super)
Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH | Local Government – Regional VIC, 2 hours northwest of Melbourne.
Public Sector People are partnering with a local council seeking an experienced Coordinator Compliance Services
to lead their compliance team on a fixed-term 3-month contract.
In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a team delivering services across Local Laws, Animal Management, Parking, and School Crossings.
You’ll provide direction, support and mentoring to staff while ensuring effective community outcomes and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team including Local Laws & Animal Management Officers, a Parking Officer, Business Support Officer and School Crossing Supervisors.
- Manage service delivery, performance, and staff development.
- Oversee enforcement, investigations, and proactive education programs.
- Ensure compliance processes align with Council policies and community expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in Local Laws, Animal Management, or related compliance within Local Government.
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures.
- Available for full-time work with hybrid flexibility (min. 3 days onsite).
