Coordinator Revenue – Local Government
Full-time | 38 hours per week with monthly RDO | 18-month fixed term contract
Salary: $105,483–$118,035 p/a + 12% super (Band 7)
Location: South East Melbourne (Hybrid options available)
This role offers hybrid work arrangements, with start and finish times negotiable. Please note the position is located approximately 50km east of Pakenham and 80km east of Springvale, and is not fully remote.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Coordinator Revenue
to join our client, a forward-thinking local council in South East Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role where your skills will directly contribute to the community.
In this role, you will lead the team responsible for managing the money coming into council – ensuring bills are accurate, payments are collected on time, and property records are kept up to date. You’ll oversee how rates are managed, contribute to future planning, and find better ways to work, all while providing clear and trusted advice to senior leaders. Your attention to detail, leadership, and commitment to excellent service will help maintain strong financial foundations for the community.
What you’ll bring:
- Qualifications and experience in property-based rating and revenue, ideally in local government.
- Confidence with complex financial systems, legislation, and problem-solving.
- Clear, professional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and results-focused approach to leadership.
