We are currently seeking an experienced Coordinator Statutory Planning to step into a key leadership role within a high-performing local government planning team for a short-term interim assignment.
This 2-month temporary position is a vital bridge while permanent recruitment takes place. You'll be joining a supportive team of six planners, providing steady guidance, reviewing planning applications, and offering hands-on support when needed. With a couple of team members on leave, your leadership will help maintain momentum and ensure continuity of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of statutory planners
- Provide guidance and mentorship during a period of change
- Review planning applications and handle a small caseload
- Maintain a positive team culture and strong output
